Portland Workers Assembly Session 1

Our first Portland Workers’ Assembly discussion will focus on building strong community support in campaigns. We’ll hear from members of Portland Association of Teachers (PAT), Starbucks Workers United (SBWU), as well as Portland JwJ’s executive director, Jill Pham. They will all share recent experiences bringing the community in. We’ll explore specific successes as well as challenges. These talks are geared towards all workers, and union staff and labor activists are also encouraged to attend!
