A Labor-Community Organizing Hub

Tyler is a longtime community organizer who got involved with the labor movement through their work with New Seasons Labor Union (NSLU). They were an original member of the organizing committee at the Seven Corners location, which was the first shop to successfully unionize in the company’s history. Tyler left New Seasons to work for Free Geek, where they were elected to the Bargaining Committee.
Prior to NSLU, Tyler was involved in several mutual aid and community outreach organizations. This grassroots-style of organizing is still Tyler’s preferred method of building power, and they’re excited to see the labor movement adopt similar strategies as the shift from service-model to organizer-model occurs across most sectors.
Tyler believes that many of the problems we face today can be traced back to corporate greed. They know a better world is possible, and working class solidarity is how we’ll get there!
