JwJ Accessibility Fundraiser

InterpretationThermometerWe’re almost 20% of the way to our goal! Help us raise money to provide Spanish and ASL language interpretation services at all of our events!

We dream of a world where equality and justice are the norms rather than just empty platitudes. Sometimes we focus so much on the inequality and inequity that exists “out there” in our society that we lose sight of the fact that we can do better right in our backyard, in our own homes, in our own lives, and in our own organizations.

At Portland Jobs with Justice, we are dedicated to actively working toward greater equity in our organization, and ensuring that JwJ is a place that is accessible, welcoming, and safe for everyone. We can ensure that language barriers are never obstacles to participation at Portland JwJ.

That’s why we’ve set a goal of raising $10,000 by the end of summer 2020, to help ensure we have the resources not only to provide Spanish and ASL interpretation at all of our events, but so that we have the resources to pay not just a living wage, but a good and strong wage to those who provide that service at our events.

Help us move closer to making this dream a reality for our organization.
