We are excited to invite you to our 2018 annual dinner — Our Community, Our Cause. For over a quarter of a century Portland Jobs with Justice has been a hub of support for working people in our city. Our success together is only possible because of your support, and through that generous support we continue to grow and deepen our relationship to the struggles of working people.

As the highlight of a fun and exciting program, we are honored and thrilled to welcome Ramon Ramirez as our keynote speaker at this year’s annual dinner!
Ramon Ramirez has a long history of organizing in the labor movement, and specifically with immigrant farm workers. In 1995 he found Pineros y Campesinos Unidos del Noroeste (PCUN, Oregon’s farm worker union and served as it’s president until his retirement earlier this year. He has been a tireless advocate and fighter for the labor movement in general, and specifically for the rights and dignity of farm workers, who are often left out of labor laws and are among the least protected workers in the United States. We look forward Ramon’s reflections on his work, the labor movement, and the importance of organizing with farm workers and immigrant communities.
Come celebrate and build a stronger community with us!
