2017 Rally & March for a United Front Against the Trump Agenda
The day after the 2017 inauguration Portland Jobs with Justice lead a rally and march of labor unions and community organizations to show that Portland is united against the Trump Agenda, and to feed into the Portland Women’s March which brought out over 100,000 people.
We marched into the Women’s March chanting “Black Lives Matter! Women’s Lives Matter!”
The Rally & March for a United Front Against the Trump Agenda included speakers from various unions and organizations including the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, Community Alliance of Tenants, Portland Association of Teachers, All African Peoples Revolutionary Party, PCUN, SEIU, AFSCME, Burgerville Workers Union, Voz Workers Rights Education Project, Augustana Lutheran Church, and many more.
